Department of Computer Science & Engineering
Overview
Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been successfully functioning since 1993. It offers B.E (Computer Science and Engineering) and M.E (Computer Science and Engineering). The department has well established laboratories for UG and PG students. The Software labs are well maintained and conditioned powered by DELL and Pentium systems of latest configuration and 24 hours Internet facility. The Internet (1 Gbps) and laboratory facilities are available for staff and students round – the clock. All the labs are well equipped with many modern facilities / utilities.
The department has its own Local Area Network. More than 255 latest computers are installed in the computer labs with the help of structured cabling technique. There are two servers and UPS of 60KVA each in order to utilize the computing effectively. Special PC Server is also serving in the department. Few of the laboratories are: PG R&D Lab, CASE Tools Lab, Networks Lab sponsored by CISCO, Linux Lab, Data Structures Lab driven by Aroopa Technologies Pvt Ltd, Python Lab, Android Lab and Project Lab. The department is a Recognized Center for Cloud Computing & Nodal Center for CISCO Network Training.
Department of CSE has good interactions and MOUs with leading technology domain Training & Development Industries. It organizes Symposia, Exhibitions, Conferences, Seminars and Workshops for both students and Faculty belonging to various Technical Educational Institutions, Research Scholars of Research Institutes and Industries all over India.
The strength of the CSE Department is its Alumni, which adds a good amount of perception rating to the department by being most illustrious.
